A residence originally built in 1912 has been thoughtfully renovated—preserving its structure and original finishes—and reborn in November 2024 as com-ion, a cultural complex open to the local community.
The facility brings together four distinct spaces:
HitoHi, an all-day dining venue; Toki no Hashi, a ceramic studio; Soil work, a coworking space; and Hotori, a café and shop.
To unify these diverse functions, the website was designed around key materials that evoke a sense of warmth—like a place for gathering—and a seamless, air-like gradient that gently connects each space.
Our scope included facility branding, web design, environmental signage, and merchandise development.
