As part of the promotion for Sekigahara Stone’s original brand "Strad.," we are hosting a special exhibition titled "i to shi ki ki to i shi" from Saturday, May 25, 2024, to Saturday, June 29, 2024, highlighting the charm of stone and wood materials.

The event is a collaborative effort: Sekigahara Stone is responsible for the stone works, Karimoku Furniture for the woodworks, and Koichi Suzuno from TORAFU ARCHITECTS for the planning and exhibition design. Our company has taken charge of the overall planning, creative direction, artwork, sales support, and event planning and management. Over the course of a year, the four companies have come together to bring this project to life.

The exhibition will be held at Karimoku Commons Tokyo, featuring around 60 unique types of stones and woods from both domestic and international sources. Visitors will have the opportunity to see and touch these materials, discovering the similarities and differences between stone and wood, minerals and plants. The exhibition aims to highlight and celebrate these creations of the earth, which have been integral to human life and tools since the dawn of humanity.
